Leading Hotels of the World group adds 10 more exotic properties you should know about
The Leading Hotels of the World, an association of some of the world’s best hospitality venues, whose motto is “Pursue the remarkable”, an ambition hard to argue against, has added 10 new member hotels to its global portfolio of more than 450 independent properties. These August additions include restored heritage landmarks, private residences, beachfront and island retreats and an all-inclusive Western ranch, properties in Barbados, China, Denmark, France, Indonesia, Italy, Portugal and the United States.
“Each new member joining our collection represents a different expression of independent luxury hospitality, from historic European estates and restored landmarks to private island retreats and experience-led properties across the globe,” said Dean Bannon, a LHW vice president. “These [new] hotels reflect the individuality and ambition that define our portfolio.”
These are they:
The brand new Blue Monkey Hotel & Beach Club (St. James, Barbados): A stylish new beachfront retreat along the platinum coast. Opened July 2026.
The Ranch at Rock Creek (Philipsburg, Montana): Authentic Western adventure meets all-inclusive luxury, they say.
Relais d’Amboise (Amboise, France): A restored historic convent in the heart of Amboise. Set to open September, 2026
La Réserve Paris-Apartments (Paris, France): A superior collection of 10 private Parisian homes in the 16th Arrondissement, available nightly, and longer of course.
The 18 room (4 suites) ENTRE Évora Boutique Hotel (Évora, Portugal): A restored hideaway in medieval Évora. Opening soon.
Legacy Ithos (Porto Santo, Portugal): A wellness-led island escape on Porto Santo. Opening August 2026.
CORI Hornbæk Hotel (Hornbæk, Denmark): Contemporary Nordic living on Denmark’s Riviera. Who knew Denmark had a Riviera? Opening September 2026.
Miralago Luxury Apartments (Cernobbio, Italy): Lake Como living, part of the Villa d’Este collection.
The Sanchaya (Bintan, Indonesia): A secluded estate on the shores of Bintan.
Legend of AVARA, Chongzuo (Chongzuo, China): A 32 suites and villas property set within China’s Karst mountains, near Vietnam. Recently opened, February 2026.
