Tourism in Belize
Great Blue Hole, off of Belize ---- a phenomenon of karst topography
Belize is not just for those seeking tax havens. It’s also a beautiful Caribbean country and a great destination, currently enjoying an upturn in tourism.
Nicole Solano, CEO of the Belize Ministry of Tourism, talks with James Shillinglaw of Insider Travel Report at last month’s Caribbean Week in New York, about what’s new in her small Central American country on the Caribbean.
Nicole gives an update on visitor numbers, new and upcoming hotels, how to get to Belize and tourism infrastructure. Belize continues to be a great destination for diving, snorkeling, fishing, Mayan historical sites and small boutique resort stays. For more information on Belize, visit www.travelbelize.org.
