The Lyma Laser Wand

All I really want for Christmas is peace on Earth and goodwill to all men (and women), however failing that I’d go for this laser beauty wand. It’s quite pricey, and you can’t just wave it and be beautiful (sadly that hasn’t been invented yet). This Lyma wand requires somewhat of a commitment of up to 30 minutes per day for three months, depending on the area. (Why they don’t make a full-body size one I don’t know.) Along with the serum and the mist, the wand works wonders as an anti-aging device for lifting, firming, toning, and odd lumps and bumps all over the body. How fun! See you in three months… Approx. $2,600, lyma.life

2020 holiday gift wish list

It’s time to spice up that holiday ham. One of the top pitmasters in the country (that’s right, we said it) is taking marinating to the next level. Give your meats a good rub down with three beautifully crafted and blended spices: the all-purpose Big Poppa for a Memphis-influenced ‘cue; the versatile and smokey The What for all things Latin and even exotic animals like ‘gator; and the aromatic Just Playing for all your sides. $14 each, bigpapasmokem.com

Teddy Bear Charm

2020 holiday gift wish list

Calling out to me is a 9k gold teeny puffed teddy bear charm from 1900, a year before the Victorian period ended. Measuring all of 15mm long, it would be perfect on the charm bracelet I inherited from my grandmother. The UK dealer CJ Antiques is my favorite go-to place for antique jewelry. Check out their Instagram page too, and you’ll be surprised to find luscious antique pieces priced less than factory produced ones today. $85, www.ebaystores.com/CJ-Antiques-Ltd
